Every year there are always new musical groups that come to colour the diversity in the music industry. Not a few whose presence immediately received the enthusiasm of the public so that their popularity grew rapidly in all corners of the world.
The number one song on all charts, album sales are selling well, and a series of world tours have been held to fulfil the wishes of fans around the world who are waiting for its release. 1. The Beatles
The group formed by John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr is considered the most influential group of all time. This British group emerged as a phenomenon and developed as a new culture in the 60s because they revolutionized many aspects of the music industry and were often publicized as the leader of the youth and socio-cultural movements of that time.
Their popularity goes hand in hand with the achievements they have achieved to finally achieve the title of the best-selling musical group of all time, one of which is the total album sales of up to 600 million copies worldwide. The Beatles are the best-selling brand in the United States, with certified sales of 183 million copies. And of course, various other legendary coronations that are recognized by the world.
All Beatles related merchandise always sells well. The Beatles have also inspired many other musicians to start their careers. Even though it has been disbanded for decades and only member Paul McCartney remains, we can still feel the everlasting popularity of The Beatles.
2. queen
This British rock band was formed in 1970. The group consisting of vocalist Freddie Mercury, guitarist Brian May, bassist John Deacon and drummer Roger Taylor formed Queen, which was then known in various corners of the world. The band became popular in the community due to their hit songs, live performances, originality, and stage performances.
Many of Queen’s hits remain very familiar to our ears as if they were timeless, such as “We Will Rock You”, “We Are The Champion” and “Bohemian Rhapsody”. “Bohemian Rhapsody” was one of the singles from the album A Night at the Opera, which later became a symbolic song for Queen and is still famous today.
Queen also currently exists with four staff members and some time ago went on tour with Adam Lambert, who took over from the late Freddie Mercury as a vocalist.
3. Stray Boys
The boy band from Orlando, Florida formed in 1993 with the lineup of Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, Brian Littrell, AJ McLean and Kevin Richardson. Since their presence in the music industry, the Backstreet Boys have anaesthetized millions of young people around the world with pop, Eurodance and pop-rock concepts.
A total of 10 albums and dozens of hit singles have been released throughout the Backstreet Boys’ 27-year career. One of them was “I Want it That Way” which was released in 1999 and became a huge hit all over the world. The song managed to reach the top positions on many charts in many countries, including the United Kingdom, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Norway, New Zealand, and Asia.
