Are you bored and need an exciting movie recommendation?! Don’t like the romance genre let alone horror ?! Well, this time there is a movie recommendation that is really exciting (guaranteed!). It makes you nervous, yes, it makes the atmosphere tense, yes, it’s more fun, but it’s anti-boring. Happy Watching!
1. The Babysitter (2017)
The Babysitter is a must for you to watch! The reason? This film is studded with top artists, including Samara Weaving, Judah Lewis, Bella Throne, to Robbie Amell.
The Babysitter tells the story of a nanny named Bee (Samara Weaving), who takes care of Cole (Judah Lewis) who turns out to be part of a demon-worshipping cult. In order to make his wish and that of his four friends come true, the five of them have the heart to risk Cole’s life.
The excitement of this film is guaranteed to make you unable to skip every scene! The good news is, there is a sequel to this film which was released in September this year, you know! So more curious, right?
*PS: this film is full of bloody scenes, for those of you who are not strong with blood, don’t try it, OK!
2. The Babysitter: Killer Queen (2020)
The Babysitter 2 aka The Babysitter: Killer Queen was quite successful in making its second debut. Although the intensity of the tension is not as great as in the first film, you still have to watch this sequel! With the comeback of the old cast plus a fresh cast: Jenna Ortega, making this second film even more filled with exciting and thrilling action adventures.
The initial plot is a little predictable, really. But, the ending always makes us all gasp.
3. Assassination Nation (2018)m
Assassination Nation (2018) is a film with the main story about girl power!
This film can be said to be the right mix between the storyline and the players. Tells the story of the struggle of 4 teenage girls who are required to unite to uphold justice.
Bullying, blood, abuse, drinking, dr*gs use, and sexual content are some of the trigger warnings that have been inserted at the beginning of the film. So you can guess and decide if you can watch this movie. But apart from that, Assassination Nation is a near-perfect film as an example of chaos in a region that drives almost everyone in the region crazy!
4. Boys In The Trees (2016)
Boys In The Trees will make you dizzy until almost half the film. The reason is, that you will not be able to guess the plot and intent of this film. The message will be clear to you at the end of the film.
It seems this film is quite unfamiliar to our ears and even seems under-rated. However, Boys In The Trees must still be on your watch list on weekends because there will be a moral message that you can get after you finish watching this film.
Don’t worry, there are no shocking or bloody scenes in this film. So those of you who are looking for a safe spectacle but still need a focused mind can watch it.
5. We Summon the Darkness (2019)
Who doesn’t know Alexandra Daddario? Even at the age of 30, she is even more beautiful. It seems this is one of the attractions of this film. But, the story that is raised is no less exciting too, you know.
Tells the story of 3 teenage girls who meet 3 teenage boys at a rock concert that ends with a sadistic scene covered in blood! Wow, what’s behind that? Don’t be fooled by the beautiful faces of the 3 teenage girls there, OK! So, let’s watch We Summon the Darkness to be more curious about the actual storyline!
6. Knives Out (2019)
I’m sure, surely almost all of you already know the movie Knives Out, right? Boom as a very satisfying 2019 closing. Knives Out has succeeded in becoming a film about murder with the Whodunit or “Who has done it” film genre again topping the film market. A film like this invites the audience to guess who the real perpetrator/mastermind is because films in the Whodunit genre must have a dizzying plot!
Those of you who like mystery cases and detective-style films must really watch Knives Out, (because there are Daniel Craig and Chris Evans who are super handsome) because this film is really worth it watch!
7. Summer of 84 (2018)
Did you get the wrong focus with this movie poster? If so, a brief history of why announcements of missing persons in that year were often found on milk packaging because it was considered more effective, because the possibility of the announcement being seen would be more than sticking announcements of missing persons on electricity poles or bulletin boards.
From here you can already guess that the film Summer of 84 tells the story of the case of the disappearance of several boys in the suburbs. Then a group (gang) of brave (perhaps also restless) youths appeared who intended to investigate this case. In fact, if you’ve often watched this kind of film, surely you can already guess who the perpetrators behind the disappearance of some of the boys are.
8. Ready or Not (2019)
Despite being counted as a newcomer actress, Samara Weaving has successfully played her role in the films she has starred in. Evidently, Ready or Not enough to grab the attention of many people last year.
This film tells the story of a young bride who after getting married is suddenly faced with the typical “game” of the man’s family on the same day as her wedding (you can see in the poster that the woman is still wearing the wedding dress). Full of bloody scenes, Ready or Not is also still regretted with some hilarious art pieces.
If you are a thriller lover and don’t want to think hard about just watching a movie, Ready or Not is the right choice!
